MAJOR FLOYD WOODROW MBE, DCM
FLOYD’S MISSION IS TO UNLEASH HUMAN POTENTIAL
And it’s fair to say he’s unleashed his own. At just 22, Floyd became one of the youngest soldiers ever to have been selected for the SAS. Floyd sustained a career in the SAS for over 23 years, winning the Distinguished Conduct Medal for his service in Iraq and was then awarded an MBE by the Queen for his service in Afghanistan. Rising to the rank of Major and Head of Selection for the SAS, Floyd knows a thing or two about leading under pressure.
Floyd is an award-winning speaker and is regularly invited to speak on leadership all over the world. He has established an international reputation for designing and running leadership and elite performance training in sports, business, government, police, not-for-profit organisations and schools.
Compass For Life™ is a leading values-based transformational coaching service. From elite international athletes to corporate teams and academia, Compass For Life™, founded by Floyd, develops individuals into world-conquering elite performers and empowers individuals to make a difference.
Floyd has led a number of mergers and acquisitions ensuring that the companies he represents have surpassed their expected market capitalisation. He has also been involved in numerous negotiations ranging from hostage rescue to assisting businesses to fully reach their potential.
Floyd wrote his first book, Learning to Learn, as a guide for others to show how he had been able to complete a law degree while deployed on military operations. He has translated many of the learnings from his 20 years in the SAS into two further books, “Elite!” and “The Warrior, The Strategist and You“.
