Penny has for the last three years presented the Used Car Roadshow with Jason Dawe on ITV 4. The show is the most popular car programme on satellite television with more than a quarter of a million viewers each week.

Penny became the only female presenter on Channel 4's, long running television series, Driven. She has become one of in Channel 4's most popular presenters and viewing figures never dropped below 2.2 million. Driven was the first motoring programme to knock ‘Top Gear’ off the air after 21 years!


Alongside Driven, Penny presented Channel 4’s critically acclaimed World Rally Championship as well as the Le Mans Beginners Guide. Apart from these flagship shows, Penny has presented the much repeated Channel 4 series Accident Black Spots and has been a regular contributor on GMTV and This Morning. The Car Show, The Road Show, Behind the Balls are amongst many other shows to Penny’s credit.

Penny’s background as a Rally Driver gave her just the right credentials for presenting car programmes. She was National Ladies Champion Rally Driver in 1993 and the first woman in the world to compete in a World Rally Car. She rallied the Ford Focus WRC in the Rally of Great Britain in 2000.

Penny is also a respected precision driver for film and TV, playing both ‘Nicole and Papa’ in the famous Renault Clio commercials.
